A great place to grab a quick lunch during the week - they've got everything.
There are places for sandwiches/baguettes with several independent places alongside big brands like Greggs and Subway.
The main attraction, however, is the numerous food stalls that are there during the week. My favourites are the Mexican (the best burritos I've ever tasted, reflected in the long queues daily) and the falafel wraps.
Judging by lines, the chicken stall also gets a roaring trade. -

For this area , a street food place has is really a great variety for what you pay for. I like the mixture of shops and stalls to give you a very wide choice of options as well as , coffee and 2 shops one of them is selling dresses and the other one is selling shoes and slippers

There isn't really any bad choices at Strutton Ground - it's changed beyond belief following the street food revolution and is now a bit of a foodie heaven.
There's the usual shops such as an Eat and the obligatory supermarket, but there is also a decent hardware shop just around the corner and a quality Oxfam book shop.
Now for the food - there's stands and shops in abundance. My favourites include the Thai shop and the burrito stall but I also quite like the French stand with its daily changing menu. I also hear that the coffee stall serves a decent cup, and there's yet more food available from the Indian stand (you must try the mixed kebab - so tasty) as well as a falafel place and a Moroccan stall. So much choice!! -

What can I say? Amazing range of choices both in the outdoor market and in the actual shops, all of which I've tried so far have been good. The market has a nice buzzing feel to it weekday lunchtimes thanks to local office workers. Give it a try if you're in the area whilst the market is underway.

Fantastic little lunch market with huge variety in lunch options and in price ranges. Three shops on the same side of the street all sell baguette sandwiches with a range of fillings for about £2 or £3 max. A fish and chip shop and pizza place also add some variety on that side of the street (the cheaper side) and a new, upscale place on the other side sells beautiful quiches, salads, sandwiches, and desserts! In the middle of this pedestrian only street market, vendors cook up big vats of delicious-smelling food, although they are a bit more expensive. This is a great place for everyone to find tasty and filling lunches, either on a budget or those willing to spend a bit more!. Being just off Victoria Street, this market is crowded at lunchtime so be prepared for long queues between 1 and 2pm.
